“Calmly, without pressure or fear. More experience, more fights, more years – it might seem that all signs point against me, that I’m the underdog in this match. On the contrary, all the pressure should be on Samuelis. I’m just a kid, full of youthful drive, stepping into battle against him,” says Kristupas Janciauskas, as he prepares for the fight that could change his career.
On November 14th, in Vilnius, at the ‘TwinsBet’ Arena, during the international ‘MMA’99 Bushido’ tournament, he will face the well-known martial artist Samuelis Sorochovas. “This is my opportunity to prove that my name deserves to stand alongside the well-known fighters in Lithuania,” Janciauskas says.
“Samuelis is an experienced wolf – he knows how to fight in professional bouts, how to wait for the right moments. He’s physically strong and delivers kicks from interesting angles, but with experience comes a distinct style that can’t be changed instantly. That becomes an opportunity other fighters can use to their advantage,” Janciauskas explains. “I know what I have to do. My moment is coming. This fight is my chance to show that not everything is measured by experience.”
November 14th isn’t just another date on the BUSHIDO calendar – it’s a night when one name will be remembered longer than the others. Knowing how much energy, ambition, and healthy audacity Kristupas brings, this quiet storm definitely isn’t fading away anytime soon.
