KOK’83 World Series tournnament RESULTS

KOK visited Helsinki, Finland for the second time Saturday.

A large crowd attended the event, held at the historic Kulttuuritalo Hall.

Finland’s Pok Bill won the previously-vacant KOK World Featherweight Title. Pok defeated Lithuania’s Igor Osinin by unanimous decision after five hard-fought rounds.

In the co-main event, Dawid Mirkowski of Poland won a split decision against Finland’s Jussi Pirttikangas.

Mirkowski was scheduled to meet KOK Middleweight Champion Daniel Forsberg today. Forsberg withdrew from the bout a couple of days ago because of illness, according to a source.
