The biggest martial art tournament KOK is coming to Latvia for the first time!
On the 22nd of May in the capital city of Latvia fans of martial arts will get a chance to see the biggest event in Europe – “KOK WORLD GP”. For the first time KOK comes to Riga.
King of Kings steadily rose in popularity and with increase visibility KOK is now gathering biggest arenas in United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Moldova, Cyprus and others and is shown in all continents.
This time the tournament is taking place in Riga. During the night fans are going to see best fighters from Latvia and all over the world: Kristaps Bulmeistars (Latvia), Chris Baya (Holland), Piotr Woznicki (Poland), Sergei Morari (Moldova), Mateusz Kopiec (Poland), Vjacheslav Tevinish (Latvia), Eugeny Alekseev (Latvia), Herkus Lukošiūnas (Lithuania), Eduard Kamenski (Estonia), Pavel Mazurok (Latvia), Valerijs Brede (Latvia) and others.
Starting from the first breathtaking fight till the very last second – KOK will guarantee you incredible show, adrenaline and best fights Riga has ever seen.
First press conference was held in Riga on 31st of March representing the event and it’s preparation for the public. Attending: Donatas Simanaitis – International Bushido federation, KOK Global President, Riga’s Vice Minister – Andris Ameriks, as well as Latvian fighters: Latvian champion WAK-1F 2014 Semi pro Baltic Champion Raimonds Aukštikalnis, WAK-1F European Champion Pavel Mazuroks, European and Latvian WAKO champion Vitalijs Buhrjakovs, WAK-1F champion Valerijs Brede, European Bushido champion Vjacheslavs Tevinsh, European cup IFMA winner Jevgenijs Aleksejevs – fighter of Grand Prix four. Jevgenijs has an arm injury, but the fighter assured that he is going to be OK on 22nd of May and will show a good fight. Jevgenijs himself would choose to fight against Piotr Woznicki in the first fight. The last fighter – European WAKO Champion Kristaps Bulmeistars, who is not new in KOK ring, already fought three times already.
