KOK Returning to Finland in 2020

After a successful debut earlier this year, the King of Kings promotion (KOK) will return to Finland for a second event on 29 February, 2020. The organization officially announced the event Thursday.

Once again, the event will be held at the Kulttuuritalo, a famed Helsinki venue that has played host to some of the biggest names in rock music.

KOK held its first event in Finland in May. A large crowd attended the event, and didn’t go home disappointed.

Finnish fighter Daniel Forsberg won the previously vacant KOK World Middleweight Title with a unanimous decision win against Raimonds Aukstikalnis of Latvia.

Pok Bill, a Thai who lives and trains in Finland, established himself as a top contender to KOK Featherweight Champion Stanislav Renita by impressively winning a four-man featherweight contender tournament.

The next KOK event takes place this Wednesday July 3 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnian legend Dzevad “BH Machine” Poturak faces Dritan Barjamaj for the KOK Europe Heavyweight Title, and the KOK World Heavyweight Grand Prix kicks off with the first four-man tournament.

Wednesday’s event will be broadcast internationally on FightBox HD, and also streamed worldwide on a pay-per-view basis on the KOK Fights TV and Play 7 TV streaming platforms.
