KOK Finland: Fight Card Released

The King of Kings organization (KOK) today released the official fight card for its upcoming event in Helsinki, Finland.

The KOK World GP in Helsinki takes place on the 17th of May at the Kulttuuritalo, a venue known for hosting some of rock music’s biggest names over the years.

As previously mentioned, Daniel Forsberg and Raimonds Aukstikalnis will meet in a rematch for the vacant KOK World Middleweight Title. Forsberg defeated Aukstikalnis by split decision at KOK 61 in Riga last October. Aukstikalnis can avenge the loss by defeating Forsberg in his native Finland.

A four-man featherweight (65 kg) tournament is also scheduled. Three Finland-based fighters and one Latvian will compete for the tournament title.

Latvia’s Janis Freimanis, 6 x Finland champion Pok Biil, Lauri Soumela, and Darius Skoczek will take part in the tournament, with the winner moving ahead in the rankings.

Stanislav Renita of Moldova is the organization’s current featherweight champion, while Simon Santana of Norway is the top contender.

In another notable bout, middleweight contender Jurijs Orlovs will see action. Orlovs defeated Mike Sprangh of the Netherlands by extra-round decision in February for the KOK Europe Middleweight Title.

Here is the fight card (subject to change). All fights are KOK rules.
