KOK Classic 5 Confirmed for February

The fifth edition of the KOK Classic is taking place on 28 February in Lithuania. KOK officially announced the event today.

The KOK Classic series started last year after regulations caused by the coronavirus pandemic restricted live attendance for sporting events. KOK Classic events showcase young talents as well as established contenders. The events are televised by FightBox HD and streamed live and worldwide by KOK Fights TV.

Fighters rumored to be in action at next month’s event include Matas Pultarazinskas, the KOK Interim Featherweight World Champion. Pultarazinskas won the title in December by majority decision against Poland’s Lukasz Leczycki.

Lightweight contender Mindaugas Narauskas is also rumored to be competing at KOK Classic 5. Narauskas is looking for his second straight victory after returning from injury. He’s currently the second-ranked contender for the KOK Lightweight Title held by Henrikas Viksraitis.

MMA fighter Erikas Gulobovskis, coming off a first-round TKO win last month, is also returning, according to a reliable source.

More fighters and matches will be announced in the coming weeks.

The next KOK event, KOK 86, takes place on February 5 in Turkey. Masoud Minaei of Iran faces Sinan Cagala of Turkey in a title fight main event.
