KOK Turkey Representative Erkan Varol released match ups for this week’s KOK Fight Series event.
The KOK Fight Series in Turkey event takes place this Friday August 16.
Once again, the venue is the Hendek Bayraktepe Arena in the city of Sakarya, where a crowd of ten thousand plus is expected to witness another exciting kickboxing event featuring top Turkish fighters battling international opposition.
Top Turkish prospect Ahmet Kilic (13-1, 8 KOs) returns for another bout in KOK competition. Kilic defeated then-unbeaten Hossein Mollmahdi impressively via decision at last month’s Turkey vs Russia event, and the fight was considered the best bout of the evening.
Kilic faces Jamshidbek Tursunbaev of Uzbekistan in an 81 kg super fight.
Fellow prospect Gokhan Sever (8-1, 4 KOs) is also in action. Sever meets Muho Karimov of Uzbekistan.
An all-Turkish women’s battle between Begum Karli and Esra Yalin is also scheduled, as well as three bouts in KOK’s red-hot 71 kg weight category.
The event will be televised in Turkey on TV 8 and TV 8,5, televised internationally on FightBox HD, and streamed worldwide on KOK Fights TV and the Play 7 TV streaming platform.
